Birds and Other Wildlife
Skye offers a great variety of bird life. This is a great location for White Tailed Eagles, Golden Eagles, Hen Harriers, Divers, Cuckoos and Ravens as well as many of the smaller bird species.

Other wildlife can be found in the area from Field Vole to Red Deer.
Otters can be seen (and photographed!) near by.
Offshore there are both common and gray seals and a wide variety of cetaceans from porpoise to humpback whale.
White Tailed Eagles are frequently seen around Foxwood. We photagraphed this individual a few minutes walk away at Oronsay.
Otters can be found close-by to Foxwood. We photographed this one at Roag, about 20 minutes drive away.
